Applying for External Membership

Hello and welcome to DMU Library and Learning Services!

You can apply to join our library by completing the form, which is presented when you click on "Begin Application" at the bottom of this page

You can find out more about our visitor and external membership below and also on the Visitor Info page:

  • We have visiting times during which visitors and external card holders can visit
  • Here is the Library catalogue which you can search to see what items and resources we stock
  • There are Library Regulations which govern the use of our space and membership is only available to those with a genuine need to use our resources for academic research and is provided at the discretion of the Director of Library and Learning Services. We also have a privacy policy in place regarding the disclosure of your personal data

  • Please be aware that our external membership cards will only allow access to the Kimberlin Library, our main library building. They will not allow you access to our Law Library, or other spaces on campus.
  • Please check that the resources you need are located in the Kimberlin Library before you apply for membership.
