There are silent study spaces on the 2nd floor of the Law Library, in the Hugh Aston building, and on the top floor of the Kimberlin Library.
The Kimberlin Library silent study spaces have some PC access. In the Law Library, you would need to bring your own laptop.
Quiet study spaces are available on the Lower Ground floor and 1st floor of the Kimberlin Library, on the 1st floor of the Law Library, and in the Eric Wood and Greenhouse Learning Zones.
Quiet study is defined within our spaces as "Individual study with brief conversation at a low volume only". People sitting adjacent to you should not be able to hear what you are saying to the person sitting next to you.
The Law Library can be accessed through Rm 1.81 on the 1st floor of the Hugh Aston Building. It contains law related book stock and journals, plus quiet and silent study spaces and an IT room accessible by those students on Law courses. When searching the Library Catalogue for book stock, you will see items housed in the Law Library listed under this location.

In addition to the main libraries, there are also two Learning Zones on campus, the Eric Wood Learning Zone and the Greenhouse Learning Zone. These do not have bookstock, but do have large numbers of PCs, and a convivial working environment for both individuals and small groups.
These spaces often remain open when other facilities on campus are closed, for example, between Christmas and New Year, or over the Easter weekend.
