Gateway House Opening Times

The Gateway House building is open to all undergraduate students, from all faculties, to use the computing facilities in the PC labs on weekday evenings and weekends. We’d like to encourage all students to take advantage of the extended opening times, which also provides students in the School of Computer Science and Informatics with access to all of the software they may require.

Access is available at the following times:

Term time


Monday – Friday

08:00-00:00 (midnight)

Saturday & Sunday




Holiday Time


Monday – Friday


Saturday & Sunday


Librarians Drop-in

2-3 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday  (During term-time)

A Librarian will be available to help with

  • Using Library resources
  • Referencing and citation
  • Literature search
  • Finding books and journal articles

No booking required.... just come along to the Kimberlin library LDZ
