14 March 2018, 9.30-13.00, Kimberlin Library
Guest facilitator: Dr. Catalina Neculai (Senior Lecturer in Academic Writing, Coventry University)
The Research Article (RA) is the main vehicle for the dissemination of research in the academic public sphere, for social sciences and applied sciences, in particular. This two-part workshop targeted postgraduate researchers planning to write and publish a research article following the conventional Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion structure.
In the first part, the workshop discussed the structural and stylistic particularities of the RA and its development during the staged process of writing for publication.

In the second part, participants worked either on a proposal/abstract for a RA or an actual draft of the RA, depending on the progress of their research. Feedback was available from peers and facilitators.
