SensusAccess - convert files into accessible formats

New file conversion service: Make It Accessible

The Library has launched a brand new service called 'Make It Accessible.'

The new service allows anyone with a DMU email account to upload a document and convert it into an alternative accessible format with SensusAccess. Most text formats can be converted into an audio file, Word document or e-book. Pictures of posters or other types of text can also get converted.

The service is helpful for anyone who would like a document converted into a different format; including from PDF to an editable Word document. SensusAccess is free to use for all DMU staff and students.

ADH Drop-ins

Librarians are now joining CLaSS in offering regular drop-in sessions in the Learning Development Zone of the Kimberlin Library. Every week during term-time there will be a librarian in the sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-3pm. Bring along your queries relating to finding information, using databases, referencing or other library related issues.
